Since 2000 Sam has been the talent behind the award winning branding & marketing of boutique real estate firm McConnell Bourn.  Over two decades Sam & her husband Matt have become synonymous with the skilled & successful marketing & negotiating of many of the most desirable & prominent properties in Sydney.

In 2022, Sam’s dream of launching a sophisticated homewares store became reality.  Driven by her enthusiasm & legendary passion for creating stunning home interiors coupled with her eye for detail & design, Sam opened HOME by MB, a lovingly curated collection of hand crafted items that add excitement & sophistication to any home.  Encouraged by family & friends, HOME by MB is a natural extension of Sam's passion & expertise for interior design.

Home by MB is a world of inspiration, taste, choice & style.  A range of truly beautiful, lovingly crafted homewares, selected to enhance every room. In our search for the unique & beautiful we travelled to remote villages in Java where we found craftsman carpenters, creating dramatic pieces of furniture, sensitively influenced in classic European styles
